EFT Tapping is a simple self-applied stress reduction tool.
It can be taught to children as young as 5 years old and has a growing list of research published to support its effectiveness.

I describe EFT as Emotional acupuncture and I believe that it is one of the fastest ways to lower stress and anxiety.
According to the latest research, EFT tapping had observable effects on the body. After tapping, the participant's blood pressure and heart rates decreased and they also showed lower amounts of the stress hormone cortisol in their bloodstream.
There is considerable evidence of EFT effectiveness in reducing stress, anxiety, pain, fatigue, drug side effects and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) but very limited information concerning the elderly group.
I chose to focus on this vulnerable population through a PhD assessing the effect of EFT on the quality of life of people over 65 years old.
